Good Question

Abandoned. Where are the VisitFlorida vendors??

We are one step closer to de-funding on VF. It's getting scary. Add to that that the count is 6 DMOs and going are threatened or shut down just in the past 60 days.

In keeping with my "challenger brand" this is going to be a rough one, but the truth is the truth.

After writing about it, posting it, emailing for advocacy and even holding teachable webinars to DMOs to avoid what is threatening Visit Florida, I hear crickets from the vendors.

I hope I am wrong, and I could be. In all DMO Florida agency vendor social profiles, I'm only seeing the fanfare about the new client they signed and bupkis on advocacy for VF and #SaveVisitFlorida.

So, here is the mad Mamma. The southern Mamma. You brought her out.

You should be ashamed of yourself.

If a vendor ever took one dollar from the state agency or any Florida travel business, they have a moral and fiduciary responsibility to help. So what-the-actual-F??

Even if the vendor/agency never had a client there. Don't you see how the industry is threatened? Worried? In need of your voice to defend them??

The DMO industry paid your bills, sent your kids to college, afforded you participation in this noble and beautiful travel industry. And, you're treating them like a side piece.

My hope is that one of these destination mega-vendors has a good talk with themselves and uses their vast resources to provide more value to the most important issue facing DMOs...their existence.
